Technical Support Engineers 1st/2nd Line

As one of our technical support engineers you will be working as part of our small but bustling Customer Service team.  You will be responsible for providing 1st and/or 2nd line technical support, whilst delivering to a variety of SLA’s. Our support engineers investigate and resolve technical issues reported by either customers or Paxport personnel and provide detailed analysis for issues handed over to our 3rd line team for resolution.

We don’t mind if you are an entry level applicant or a mid-level applicant - just tell us a bit more about your experience and what hours you can work. We are committed to being a flexible employer and will happily fit round your schedule if you are the right person to join the team. Our office is open Monday - Friday.

You must have:

• A basic understanding of the principles of incident management (and be able to tell us about that).
• Experience of delivering support to defined SLA’s
• Customer Service experience in a technical environment
• Experience/exposure to XML/SQL
• Willingness to join in with the weekend on-call rota once you have the hang of the job - the more people who join in, the less often you have to take part. You can do this bit from home. It helps the team so much!

You must be:

• An enthusiastic team member, willing to join in and share the workload to achieve results
• A quick learner - someone who picks things up quickly and likes to get on with the job and make their mark
