WHERE IS THE ROLE LOCATED? East Midlands

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE You'll be responsible for the day to day operational performance of the business, ensuring that production processes are developed and adapted according to sales activity levels, with orders delivered on time. You'll oversee the purchasing and production teams and maintain full control of manufacturing within a quality and timescale framework, delivering complex finished machines. For a motivated individual from a strong engineering background the role offers a great opportunity to further enhance their career and implement processes and internal structures to support the Company's future growth.

WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?

• You'll have a successful engineering career to date, ideally mechanical, and display first class knowledge of engineering terminology, and an understanding of production processes, production and fabrication capacity

• Tell us about your team leadership achievements, along with your business / commercial planning abilities

• Knowledge of agriculture would be an advantage although not essential, as you will be required to produce finished machines in line with the seasonal demands of agriculture on a worldwide basis

• You'll be an ideas person, a positive growth mindset evident in your career achievements to date

• Excellent interpersonal skills are a key requirement and your verbal and written communication skills will be well developed, along with a good overall standard of IT literacy including MS Office, ERP / MRP systems

• You'll be strong on planning and organisation and be able to identify opportunities to improve production scheduling

• With an ambition to progress your career and possessing the professional experience to allow you to achieve success in a fresh role where ideas and fresh thinking are welcome, you'll be located in the East Midlands (or be willing to relocate) and have a clean driving licence.
