External Account Manager - Cheltenham - GBP34k-GBP35k - IT Sales
Penguin Recruitment is proudly sourcing for 2x External Account Managers to join one of the most prestigious IT Solution-based organisations in the UK. Our client specialises in the supply of end-to-end IT Infrastructure Solutions specifically into the Private Sector and large market shares in Banking, Insurance, Automotive, Manufacturing and Technology based accounts. Boasting a market-leading profile spanning 3x decades, our client has cemented business partnerships with VM Ware, Microsoft, HPE, Cisco, Aruba and many more.
External Account Managers will align themselves with key contracts within Corporate or SME Sectors to drive and develop new business relations to continually identify new business opportunities and develop a portfolio of business from scratch. External Account Managers will be expected to hunt down new business through a consultative approach and effective use of business contacts where it will be expected a majority of their time will be spent at client sites.
To apply External Account Managers will require 3-4 years NEW BUSINESS sales experience working for an IT Reseller, VAR or Systems Integrator selling in to SMEs or Corporate accounts and have a list of contacts they are able to target in a new position across the South West and Central England regions. External Account Managers should have a knowledgeable background of working within key framework agreements and understand necessary processes to penetrate new organisations and departments.
Successful candidates will be offered a comprehensive package including:

• Basic salary of GBP34000-GBP35000 (dependant on experience)
