To own the delivery and growth of Babington's AAT/Accountancy qualification delivery, responsible for the delivery and achievement of revenue and budget targets as well as maintaining and improving quality and compliance standards by managing a diverse remote team. The Head of Accoutnacy will ensure that there is clear direction and focus to meet agreed objectives and targets, and that their team is appropriately supported to achieve this. Scope of Role: * Provide inspirational management and leadership to colleagues, empowering them to meet/exceed targets, provide operational excellence in their duties and reach their potential. * Lead the delivery of the agreed business plan within Babington's AAT/Accountancy qualification sector ensuring that the revenue and EBITDA expectations are met. * Actively manage team and individual performance and wellbeing, ensuring continual feedback and support to ensure performance targets and compliance requirements are consistently met. * Support the Operations Director in the implementation and embedding of performance improvement processes that leads to a positive and measurable impact in the sector. * Support the Operations Director in establishing continuous and quality improvements that are being monitored and reported on effectively in supporting efficiencies within the team. * Manage the compliance of all delivery that meets contract, regulatory and budgetary standards and targets. * Act as an ambassador for Babington exhibiting enthusiasm and professionalism at all times. * Any other duty which, from time to time, may reasonably be required to meet the needs of the business Experience of operational and performance management Experience of successfully managing strategic projects Experience in the delivery of educitonal programmes Experience of leading within a continuously evolving environment. Experience of building effective relationships with a diverse variety of organisations. Ability to inspire, enthuse and motivate others. Knowledge of the Awarding Organisations, Funding Bodies and Ofsted regulatory arrangements. Knowledge of curriculum planning. Ability to manage workload, time and resources effectively to achieve agreed targets. Comprehensive decision-making skills. Pro-active and positive 'can do' attitude.
