Solutions Recruitment is currently looking for an HGV Team Supervisor to join an award winning manufacturing leader. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing HGV Drivers - ensuring they are engaged and empowered to meet the expectations and standards.
The working hours for this role are: 5am till 2.30pm Monday to Friday (flexibility required)
The Role
The HGV Team Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Performing regular 1-2-1s with drivers
- Ensuring safe, clean and environmentally compliant work
- Controlling the allocation of PPE/Work Wear to ensure that all drivers are safe and maintaining professional appearance at all times
- Assisting in managing the relationship between warehouse and transport, ensuring that everyone is pulling in the same direction with the same objectives and goals
The Person
The HGV Team Supervisor will possess:
- HGV Driver's management experience
- Good writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- National & International Transport Management CPC Qualification
