I am helping a good secondary school in the Middlesbrough area recruit for a Learning Support Assistant, to complement the SEN department. There is a specific demand for Visual / Hearing impaired specialists. The full-time role would start straight away and would require you to work on a 1 to 1 basis, assisting in the progress of SEN students. It's essential you have prior experience working in a secondary setting. The school will ask to meet the successful candidate before starting the position.

Reporting directly to the SENCO, you will assist, support and progress children with differing needs. The ideal Learning Support Assistant will maintain a high standard of support in order to keep students on task and ensure that progress is made.

To be considered for this position of Learning Support Assistant you must have:
*Experience of group management of 11-16 year olds;

*Have experience working with children with Visual / Hearing impairments;
*Shown commitment to learning and development of pupils;
*Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and students.

As part of the CER Education team you will benefit from:
*Excellent opportunities for CPD Training;
*Opportunity to join our Team-Teach training scheme as applicable;
*The support of a dedicated secondary consultant;
*GBP250 Recommend a Friend Scheme;
*End of term Social Events;
*High street, online and fuel discounts.
