Assistant Estates Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced architectural person for the position of Assistant Estates Manager, to join a small team to assist in the continuing redevelopment, maintenance and management of a portfolio of properties consisting of city centre shops, offices and flats, elderly persons housing and outlying farms
You should have a minimum of HNC/HND in Building Construction or equivalent and a minimum of ten years relevant experience. Additional construction / design related qualifications and CPD would be an advantage.
The applicant must be able to show competence in producing sketch designs through to working drawings and be capable of site supervision through to completion of defects.
A knowledge of planning requirements, CDM regulations, building regulations and fire regulations is also a requirement. Experience of working on historic and listed buildings would also be an advantage.
Applicants must be self-motivated with a ‘hands on’ approach, be used to working to deadlines and liaising with other professionals at all levels.
Salary is negotiable.
The charity offers a contributory pension scheme.
