Are you well organised and efficient?

Can you produce accurate, concise minutes of meetings and provide an administrative service to the governing body?  

Do you have experience of the role of school clerk and are able to advise on procedural matters, where appropriate? If you have most or all of these qualities, then we would like to hear from you.  

The clerk to the governing body holds a key role in the governance of the school and is accountable to the governing body, working effectively with the chair of governors, the Headteacher, governors and key senior school staff.  The workload is variable and you will need to be flexible regarding the hours worked as meetings are held during the daytime as well as in the evening.
