Mosscare St Vincent’s Housing Group (MSV) provides over 8,200 homes across the Northwest and aims to provide excellent quality services for our customers and make a difference in the communities we serve. Our Foyers are exciting and dynamic initiatives that provide high standard supported accommodation for young people aged 16 to 25 where we assist residents to develop independent living skills with an emphasis on education, training and career issues.

We are now looking for a housing professional with a sound working knowledge of housing management particularly income recovery and arrears control to join our team in Blackburn.

The postholder will support and advise residents on license issues, welfare benefits, housing legislation and oversee void control and rent arrears. The role will also involve the delivery of training to clients. Therefore as well as an understanding and experience in these areas you must have excellent customer service and communication skills, the ability to effectively time manage and prioritise your work and be IT proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Experience in housing management databases would be advantageous.

As this post is based in a supported housing project for young people / children, the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced criminal records background check.

This is a part time post working 28 hours per week, Monday to Thursday. Some evening work on the Foyer rota (between 8 am and 8 pm) will be required including early and late shifts.
