Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-known, established business in Worksop who is seeking to recruit a Cash Allocation Clerk. The business has grown at an impressive rate because of their continued success and has quickly become an employer of choice in the area.
Cash Allocation Clerk Duties & Responsibilities:
-Reconciling customer payments
-Handling all monies received into the cash allocation team, ensuring all requests are completed and successfully resolved in a timely manner
-Adjusting the receivables ledger when required
-Process improvement
-Working towards and achieving daily KPI's set by line manager
-Processing customer debit card payments
-Processing refunds on customer credit balances
-Creating and categorising outbound service requests
-Maintaining existing accounts
-Query resolution and handling complaints
-Closely liaising with the collections team regarding any queries
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
-Experience in using Microsoft Office Excel and Word
-Numerate and Literate
-Experience using SAP would be desirable
-Experience of working with customers to resolve queries and issues
-Experience of working in a busy customer service/Finance environment
-Good communication with customers and finance issues relating to reconciliations
-Team player willing to help and support colleagues
-Attention to details to ensure accurate allocation of cash
-Ability to problem solve issues relating to un-allocated or mismatched cash allocations
-Keeping calm under pressure
