Assistant Operations Business Manager - Voids. Internal & External

Salary GBP39,196 Per Annum
Full time - 38 hours per week including college hours

Our client is a Buckinghamshire based housing association providing homes and services to local communities, they have around 7,200 homes. They pride themselves on working closely with residents and surrounding communities to make sure they deliver high quality housing, homes and services. They are looking for an Assistant Operations Business Manager - voids to help them achieve their vision and goals.
The Role:
1 Carry out pre-inspections, post inspections and other technical inspections to Trust properties, organise and issue works to be carried out. Sign off and hand over completed works by due dates.
2 Ensure that the Trusts properties are economically maintained in a good condition in compliance with legal and tenancy obligations.
3 Liaise directly with residents and customers ensuring good working relationships, dealing sympathetically, rapidly and courteously with their requests , complaints and general enquiries whilst ensuring that these contacts are recorded on the Trust's systems
4 Actively set targets, monitor performance, benchmark, network and engage with customers and their representatives to ensure the service achieves set standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
* HNC in Building Surveying or another equivalent qualification in building construction and or maintenance industry
* Substantial post qualification experience in repairs and maintenance work preferably on empty properties
* Substantial experience in supervising multi-trades staff preferably on empty properties
* Ability to work to tight time scales
* Awareness of budget development, monitoring and control
