Elevation Business Support are currently supporting a key client based in Doncaster, with the recruitment of a Software Engineer.
As part of the R&D team, you will be exposed to the latest technology stack and will need to constantly keep your skills up to date. You will apply best practice approaches to contribute to the ongoing improvement of coding practices and process.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED:
Minimum 2-3 years' commercial experience in designing websites.
Essential Skills
•Strong Node.js/npm
•Strong JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3
•Experience in web services using markup languages like JSON and REST
•Front End Web application development experience using JavaScript and its wider frameworks; AngularJS
•Knowledge of Object Oriented Design Patterns with MVC Framework experience
•Knowledge of build tools (Gulp, Grunt, Docker)
•Experience with databases (MySQL, DynamoDb, NoSQL)
•Websockets, TCP, UDP
•OAuth, OpenId, Cogito
Desirable
•AWS, Cloud functions
•Experience using GIT or other version control systems
•Contribution to Open Source projects
•Experience working in an agile environment
