Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AAT qualified Accounts Assistant to join an established accountancy practice in Harrow, Middlesex.

You will be supporting the qualfiied Accountant with bookkeeping and VAT, accounts preperation, audit and general ad hoc duties.

Audit & Accounts Assistant Position Overview

Your day to day duties will be varied and will include

Bank reconciliations
P&L analysis
Fixed asset schedules
Liase with clients to gather information
Assist in prepration of company accounts
Prepare and file VAT returns
Prepare tax returns
Preparing accounts from incomplete records

Audit & Accounts Assistant Position Requirements

Experience within an accountancy practice is essential, either as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant, or assistant accountant.

Industry based background candidates are welcome to apply and will be considered if you have prior hands on accounting and audit experience.
AAT/CTA qualifications are also highly desirable - or working towards these

This is a client facing role, you must have an excellent telephone manor

Experience with sage, QuickBooks and excel are highly advantageous

The role is based in Harrow, Middlesex

Audit & Accounts Assistant Position Remuneration

GBP20,000 - GBP25,000 per annum
28 days holiday
This is a full time position, Monday - Friday
