Assistant Technical Manager

The job
Your role is to support the Technical Manager in maintaining product quality, safety and legality throughout the business by ensuring procedures within the company are followed.
You will monitor safety, legality and quality issues, manage internal audits, technical testing and non-conformances plus the management and monitoring of complaints. You will also assist in the control of suppliers, check and file process control sheets and technical information data plus participation in internal meetings, training and staff development when required.
Your experience
You will be an extremely driven and passionate individual and hold a good track record of working in a technical position in the food manufacturing industry and experience of working with frozen foods is highly desirable. You will ideally be educated to a degree level in a food science / technology discipline and food safety / HACCP qualifications would also be a great benefit. The flexibility to travel internationally throughout Europe on occasion will also be required in order to visit supplier factories.

The Assistant Technical Manager job is based in the North West region and is paying up to GBP30,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
