An exciting opportunity for a Production Planner has arisen at this leading, well established company. Is it time you took the next step?
Our client is looking for a confident, enthusiastic individual to take on this role and become a part of a truly brilliant, dedicated team.
As production planner, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
•Managing and updating the scheduling system to optimise production and minimise stock levels
•Work closely with customer service, transport and other departments to ensure that orders are being processed correctly and in a timely manner.
•Ensure that production is planned on a weekly basis for the business to follow.
•Work closely with the rest of the planning team to ensure that all areas are covered and offer support to other areas where needed.
The ideal candidate should have a FMCG background and sound excel experience and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems. The company practices lean culture so previous experience or a general interest in lean manufacturing would be desirable but not essential.
This is a fast paced, forever changing environment and this naturally comes with its challenges. You must have strong communication and numeracy skills and have the ability to react to your surroundings and problem solve effectively.
If you feel you meet these criteria and are looking for your next challenge within planning, then an updated copy of your CV is required for this application.
If this particular opportunity is not right or you are looking for confidential advice about the food industry, please do not hesitate to contact myself, Jessica Arthey on (Apply online only) or email
