To provide confidential support to the Human Resources Manager with particular focus on the day to day management of the HR function, including the maintenance of all manual and computerised personnel files for all employees.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide accurate responses to employee queries.
* Maintain all manual and computerised personnel records for all employees i.e starters, leavers and transfers.
* Responsibility for the recruitment process - Finding the best - qualified candidate for a job opening, in a timely and cost effective manner via the use of the internet sites and screening for the Project Manager to interview.
* Prepare and send out interview letters and prepare an interview schedule.
* Prepare all new offer letters/contracts/amendments to contracts for checking.
* Provide reports as required
* Complete reference requests for banks, new accounts, Mortgages and prospective employers.
* Completion of other external requests e.g DSS, Employment services, Customer Supplier Acceptance Forms etc.
* Maintain the notice boards, ensuring they are kept up to date with relevant communications.
* Assist HR Manager in the preparation of salary / bonus letters
* Ensure that all employees have completed the Compliance Training on a yearly basis.
* Collate absence data for payroll on a weekly basis and input into sage accordingly.
* Provide information on a yearly basis in respect of Life cover
* Responsibility and maintain organograms
* Full responsibility and administration for DBS checks
* Full responsibility for enrolment for childcare vouchers
* Full responsibility for pension enrolment
* Maintain Spread sheets - Salaries/Contact Details/ Absence sheet/Employee numbers rolling YTD/Group Recruitment / Retention sheets / New starter / Trial period increase / Address list / Pension enrolment sheet / Loyal service award / Group recruitment list.

Contacts
The post holder will be required to build and maintain good working relationships both within the team and with other teams/departments within the company. Specifically to liaise with Employees and departmental heads.
General
Such other duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require.
