Our client, one of the UKs leading Ecological Consultancies are now looking for an Ecologist and a Senior Ecologist to work from their office in Derbyshire.
Role requirements,
-A commitment to ecology as a profession and a drive to further develop skills with appropriate support.
-Previous experience in the professional ecology/environment sector.
-A track record in project management and client liaison.
-A good understanding of relevant wildlife legislation and the planning system.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Good organisational and time management abilities.
-Proven experience of team working and project planning.
-A relevant degree.
-A full driving licence.
The ideal candidates will have excellent skills in GCN survey and mitigation including holding a survey licence and a proven track record in preparing and delivering mitigation (EPSL) licences for England and Wales and/or good skills in bat survey and data evaluation, including at least a Level 1 Class survey licence for England.
