Assistant Roofer

Trafford Housing Trust (THT) is an independent housing company providing more than 9,000 quality affordable homes within the Trafford area of Manchester. We are a “profit-for-purpose” organisation, striving for a society transformed, free from poverty, inequality and injustice.

We are now looking to recruit an Assistant Roofer to train and work alongside an experienced Roofer. Full training will be provided. The main duties of the role are:

• To carry out all aspects of roofing to include pointing, renewal of roof tiles and valleys. Also guttering and lead work.
• To update in real time on the iPad, all work orders and appointments.
• To carry out all multi skilling tasks related to the relevant trade assistant’s role.
• To take responsibility for any customer queries or issues relevant to the role
• To be fully aware of the repairs service promises and KPI’s
• To be fully responsible and aware of health and safety risks within your role and reporting all accidents and near misses.
• Monitoring of van stock levels and replenishments

You will also be flexible to work between the hours of 8am and 8pm.
