INVIGILATOR / SENIOR INVIGILATOR /PRINCIPAL INVIGILATOR
We are seeking to appoint the following casual posts:
Invigilator: £9.03 per hour
Senior Invigilator: £13.22 per hour
Principal Invigilator: £78.04 per half day
The College wishes to recruit additional Invigilators, Senior Invigilators and Principal Invigilators to join the team for the 2019 January and May/June examination seasons in the first instance. Full training will be provided. Working within the team, you will supervise candidates for exams in particular venues for agreed sessions*.
*A session is a morning or afternoon
As a Principal Invigilator, you will plan, coordinate and oversee arrangements for exams. This will include directing teams of invigilators in starting, running and concluding exams.
Current Principal Invigilators typically work two or three full days per week for the summer examination period commencing 13th May to 28th June 2019 and a small number of other dates during the year.
The number and timing of your ‘on-duty’ sessions will be agreed with you but is expected to be the equivalent of 2-3 days per week for six weeks. As a member of the Team, reasonable flexibility in relation to hours worked and general availability will be important.
