This is an opportunity to join a profitable, successful and growing IT company with a Head Office in Egham, specialising in LAN and Wi-Fi technology.

They are currently looking for two strong candidates for the Electrician with Structured Cabling Experience Position to cover the Rochester, Kent area.

Overview:
Job description:
- Industrial and commercial electrical installations.
- Termination ability to test, understand test parameters and test techniques using system certifiers.
- Heavy duty/gauge steel galvanised containments such as ladder rack, trunking, conduits, trays and baskets.
- Fibre and Copper systems including: CW1308 voice infrastructure, Cat 5e/6/6a, OM1 to OM4.
- Terminating, test equipment, test parameters and test techniques using system certifiers.
- Installation of cable management and full containment systems to support the Cabling meeting the latest building regulations.
- Retail Environments.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity.
- Supporting project managers with projects, assist with site surveys and project milestones.
- Communicating clearly with clients, engineers, and managers.
- Providing progress reports and weekly efficiency reports to clients and project managers.
- Assist with logistics/materials ordering as necessary.
- Co-coordinating works with other contractors on site.
- Resolve site issues.
- Health and safety requirements; in particular working safely on site and working at height.
- Leading a team/site foreman.

Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
- GCSE Level - including Maths & English
- NVQ Level 3/equivalent or above in Structured (Data) Cabling or IT Networking
- City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 (with a recognised apprenticeship) with AM2
- City & Guilds 2382-10, 2382-20 and 2382-15 (17th Edition)
- City & Guilds 2391-10 (52) Inspection & Testing or equivalent City & Guilds 2394/95
- ECS JIB Electrician gold card
- IPAF

Preferred:
- City & Guilds 2400, 2396 In Electrical Design, verification, inspection and testing
- City & Guilds 2377 (22/32) Portable Appliance Testing
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP etc.
- HCNP
- Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI)
- Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional (CNIDP??)
- Certified Network Infrastructure Technician (CNIT??)
- Manufacturer's Courses - Connectix, Excel, Systimax, Brand Rex etc.
- PASMA
