Technical Training Administration Executive (12 months)
Our client, a Global Insurance company based in Croydon require a Technical Training Administration Executive (12 month secondment covering M/L) This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company
Salary: £20K - £22K plus £1K annual bonus
Overview of the Role
Coordinate internal and external training courses nationally, managing venues, key stakeholders and external partners, gather training course feedback, updating of training and development procedures as and when required.
Assisting with the on-going development of technician induction programmes course content and training material for both new and existing technicians.
To comply with all legislation and regulations with regard to the health and safety of all employees and others involved or in the vicinity of the working /training area
Thirty-five hours per week 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. However, due to the nature of this role hours may vary in line with the needs of the business.
Office based however due to the nature of the role, you will also be required to assist with regional training a various Manufactures facilities as requested by the Technical Training Manager. Expenses to be reimbursed in accordance with company policy

Technical Training administration responsibilities
" Ensure equipment, travel arrangements/accommodation and subsequent joining instructions are completed for all internal and external delegates attending training courses and recruitment assessment centres.
Technician Induction programme responsibilities
" To liaise with the Technical Training Manager and complete new starter Induction Agenda, populating the initial week in Croydon to include first aid, technical procedures, introduction to IT and internal departmental visits.
Technical Training delivery responsibilities
" To maintain and update all first aid training delivery equipment and material fully documented in the Technical Training Library. To plan and implement first aid training both internal one day and three day courses liaising with other areas of the business when requested controlling cost and maintaining accurate records for H&S and auditing purposes.
" To deliver one to one training, coaching and/or development sessions to technicians when in the office or in the field when required.
" To introduce all new starters to Electronic Job Pack and Job Manager Mobile and to deliver the foundation course and provide the necessary support during the Induction period.
" Where necessary, introduce appropriate training techniques that best suit the learning group in order to have the desired outcome.
" To invigilate on-line ATA knowledge assessments for technicians as per the awarding body guidelines.
" To maintain all training records, documents and supporting evidence, accreditation and certification for the awarding body, and for auditing and reporting purposes.
" Manage all course registrations, venue bookings and accommodation requests in line with the company policy and procedures.
" To be responsible for handing all general administration, technician telephone and e-mail enquires within the department.
Evidence of experience within the following areas:
- Educated to 'GCSE' standard or equivalent.
- Qualified First Aider Trainer
Special Skills & Knowledge/Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable ability to analyse, interpret complex data and apply strong problem solving skills.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- A good working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Access, with advanced proficiciency within Excel
- Proactive, Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
