Senior Ornithologist, Scottish Central Belt.
Zodiac Recruitment have been tasked with assisting an internationally recognised environmental consultancy in their search for an experienced Ornithologist to work on major onshore/offshore projects across Scotland and North England.
Reporting to - Head of Ornithology, Scotland & North England.
Salary - GBP28,000 to GBP35,000 per annum + Benefits.
Position - Full time, permanent.
Our client has just come through one of its most profitable quarters, and as such are looking to expand the ornithological team through securing the services of a new Senior Ornithologist.
An experienced and commercially minded Ornithologist will be sought after to manage key projects and liaise with public/private sector clients across North England and Scotland. You will assist in growing and managing the current ornithological team, as well as conducting and orchestrating a variety of ornithological surveys in the field. Report writing experience will be essential for this role. You will also hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Ornithologist to establish themselves within a rare managerial role in a Scottish based environmental consultancy. This role will typically suit ambitious Consultants looking to work their way up the managerial career ladder and interested in the commercial side of Ecology.
