ArtisHR are currently supporting an exciting business in Gloucester with the recruitment of a HR Advisor for a permanent position paying GBP28-33,000.

Main Purpose of Job:
To provide employment-related information, guidance and learning to people managers within the Partnership as part of a dedicated consultancy support team.

Key Responsibilities of the Job:
*Respond efficiently to first-line employment-related queries from people managers in the Partnership and/or Partnership Development Managers/Heads of Business who need information and guidance to resolve queries and issues in their respective Practices. Follow up on queries as required to ensure delivery of a first-class customer experience;
*Provide employment-related information and guidance to the Partnership which is legally compliant and follows HR best practice, referring complex cases and queries to the Practice Infrastructure Consultants (or appropriate area or expert) as appropriate;
*Take ownership of resources held on the intranet/microsite pertaining to the Consultancy team ensuring these are regularly reviewed and updated in line with legislative changes;
*Identify and develop new support materials, tools and links for Partnership people managers and Practice Infrastructure Consultants to use which can be held on/signposted from the intranet/microsite;
*Log and analyse all helpline activity with which to establish robust and reliable MI and which can be used to inform future initiatives and planning to best address the Partnership's needs;
*Design, develop and deliver engaging learning materials and events to people managers within the Partnership to equip them with the skills and knowledge to manage employment-related issues in their Practices;
*Establish strong working relationships with internal colleagues (e.g. Corporate HR, Legal, Internal Communications, Learning & Development etc.) and external service providers to coordinate/improve services to the Partnership;
*Lead/support various projects related to the goals of the Practice Infrastructure Consultancy team and/or PSS team, either on own or supporting other colleagues;
*Keep up to date with external trends, best practice and developments in HR and more broadly so that this learning may be applied to developing services to the Partnership;
*Undertake reasonable administrative tasks relating to the support of the Infrastructure Consultancy Team as required.

Job Knowledge:
*CIPD qualified and/or demonstrable equivalent experience at HR Adviser level;
*Experience of providing high quality information and guidance on a wide range of employment-related issues, identifying and providing guidance about the associated risks involved;
*Relevant experience of working in large complex organisation(s) with multiple stakeholders;
*Passionate about delivering customer-focused, best practice, pragmatic HR solutions which add value to the Partnership;
*Confident communicator and skilled influencer who quickly engages with, and builds effective working relationships at all levels and across a diverse range of stakeholders;
*Experience of developing and delivering engaging learning events and supporting materials and resources;
*Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage workload with minimum levels of supervision;
*Creative thinker/problem solver who takes a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and decision-making;
*Resilient, flexible, able to work under pressure when required and comfortable with ambiguity;
*Applies emotional intelligence to a diverse range of people and situations;
*Skilled in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
*Experience of contributing to and/or leading HR projects, change and transformation programmes;
*Knowledge of current thinking in HR issues and trends and evidence of continuing professional development.

Business Expertise:
*Previous financial services experience and/or working in a regulated environment an advantage.

Special Requirements:
Willingness/flexibility to travel to other locations on occasions and stay overnight occasionally.
