We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join one of our manufacturing clients who are looking for their next generation of leaders in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
Our client operate CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment with a recurring revenue model, so the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience and appreciation of this environment.
This permanent role offers an opportunity for a long term career. This would include promotion incentives to General Manager once operations, customer contact and responsibilities are at the required level.
Working closely with the Operations Director and Production Supervisor in Kirkcaldy, the Production Manager will look after all production staff, factory workload, customer invoices and the overall operations at the site. This is an operational job, so the ability to "spin many plates" and "get the job done" are important characteristics.
We are looking for an ambitious Production Manager with the following experience and skills:
* Demonstrate experience within a production/manufacturing manager role
* Experience of working towards tight deadlines, dispatching of goods and customer service
* IT literate and be comfortable working on cloud based software and using Microsoft software packages.
* Flexible team player with good problem solving skills
* Can display a strong commercial acumen
* Knowledge of timber processing would be a benefit but not essential
In return our client is offering an attractive benefits package of GBP30,000 pa DOE, 3% pension contribution and 28 days annual leave. Working hours will be Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
