The Digital Commerce Product Analyst is a key member of the Product Management Team which is responsible for the design and execution of a wide variety of multi-platform digital product lines including websites, online customer service portals, digital entitlement and checkout processes. 

The role holder will be required to work across the business and with clients to develop, enhance and improve the assigned product line(s) throughout their lifecycle. The ability to translate the needs of the business/client into requirements documentation is essential.

The role holder will be required to communicate with people at different levels and with clients ensuring product demonstrations are tailored to the audience.

A keen interest in the digital marketplace is advantageous.

Digital Commerce Product Analyst Main Duties:

+ Develop and maintain expert knowledge of assigned product lines, the competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
+ Participate in product strategy by providing input from research and marketplace trends.
+ Take full ownership of assigned product lines, supporting their full lifecycle and maintaining all associated documentation.
+ Translate client requirements and undertake functional analysis to produce detailed specification documents that meet user, developer and tester needs.
+ Create and maintain User Guide documentation for external and internal stakeholders to support product lines.
+ Create and maintain Product Brochures for assigned product lines ensuring demonstrations are given to relevant stakeholders post launch.
+ Provide support to the Q/A function by conducting on-going usability and quality testing, client training and ensuring knowledge transfer to BAU Support is carried out in a timely manner.
+ Assist with the estimation of resources and time within the product function required to complete identified tasks
+ Conduct product feature demonstrations to internal staff, current clients and prospective clients when requested.
+ Organise and lead both internal and external meetings when requested

About You:

+ Strong analytical skills and an understanding of how to interpret customer/business needs and translate these into application and operational requirements.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate in meetings and to communicate technical issues using simple and clear language in both verbal and written form.
+ Methodical and thoughtful approach to problem solving.
+ Ability to work independently with clients when required.
+ Knowledge of business issues and processes, IT Resource and technologies.
+ Self-motivated with the ability to self-manage your own time effectively. 
+ Possess a good understanding and keen interest in the role of technology in business transformation and operational efficiency.
+ Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding and awareness of the Digital marketplace and the ability to identify opportunities to further enhance/develop our current product portfolio.

Digital Product Manager, Junior Digital Product Analyst, Digital Business Analyst, Assistant Product Manager.
