We are working in partnership with a highly reputable international development consultancy based in Oxford. They are seeking to appoint a Head of Business Planning as a support function to work across the organisation. This is a brand new role for the business and the Head of Business Planning will work very closely with the senior board as well as the wider business.
The main objective of the role is to implement and delivery strategies in line with company vision and objectives but also manage these outputs closely, through reviews and meetings. The Head of Business Planning will be working with the operations team, the technical executive team and with the CEO on reviewing and writing board reports.
This ideal candidate for this role must have strong interpersonal communications skills and someone who can facilitate delivery. It is important for this person to be able to manage various stakeholders within the organisation, prioritise business plans and be able to efficiently allocate resources. Over time, this person is likely to become the go-to for the business when they need support or guidance.
Person specification:
* Strong verbal and written skills
* Strong communication skills, a good listening and problem solver
* Proven experience coordinating and facilitating delivery
* Diplomatic and flexible work ethic
