Activities Coordinator – Transport

Salary £19,147 per annum. The role is a permanent full-time position. It offers an excellent working environment and benefits package including 34 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.

As the successful candidate, you’ll need to hold the appropriate license (D1 license) and have a background driving similar vehicles.  You will have experience of the delivery of effective and engaging training.  You will relish an opportunity to solve problems when facing a deadline and will have worked with suppliers or other third parties to keep on top of scheduled work and invoices.

You will be comfortable in knowing your way around a vehicle and be able to undertake basic roadworthiness checks. You'll have great administrative skills, effective communication skills and a good level of capability on Microsoft Office IT packages including Outlook and Excel.

You will need to have:

  • Experience of driving PCV or light commercial vehicles.
  • Experience and expertise in training delivery.
  • Experience of managing invoices and financial transactions.
  • Ability to conduct basic vehicle checks and take care of vehicles.
  • Ability to use IT to manage dynamic information.
  • Good understanding of Highway Code and safe driving techniques.
