Nursery Teaching Assistant / Key worker
From January 2019, for a fixed period of two terms, Cheltenham College Prep School seeks a Teaching Assistant to join its busy and dynamic Pre–Prep department. The Teaching Assistant is responsible to the Head of Kingfishers and will assist in the provision of a variety of activities, maintaining the care and safety of pupils. The Teaching Assistant will be a Key Worker to a group of children in the Nursery.
Kingfishers is very much part of the Prep School, occupying self-contained buildings at the heart of the school campus. Staffed by specialist Early Years teachers, the aim is to provide a stimulating and happy environment in which children can develop intellectually and socially to reach their potential.
Candidates should have experience in EYFS and will be qualified at Level 3 NVQ or higher. Experience in Foundation Stage 1 would be an advantage.
Salary on College Scale depending on experience. Hours are full time
