Systems & Control Specialist
Reporting to the Site Maintenance and Inspection Leader at SGP this role will provide technical expertise on all programmable systems, including the Rockwell ESD systems, Yokogowa ICSS, various UCP controls and the HP & Export Compressor Controls, including Mark VI Controls, HIMA System, SANCO and Bentley Nevada (machine monitoring). A substantial amount of technical training is required for this position, and this training will be provided during 2018 along with site familiarisation training.
The post holder will be required to be resident on Shetland mainland, but will work on a shift basis with a back to back who is already in the position. Candidates should ideally hold an engineering Degree (Electrical, Electronic or Instrumentation) or a recognised Apprenticeship with a minimum formal qualification of HND/HNC (or City and Guilds Equivalent).
Extensive controls systems experience in oil and gas (or equivalent) comprising a solid track record working with programmable controls systems, and their maintenance, trouble-shooting and modifications is essential.
