This client is a leading supplier into the automotive, pharmaceutical, aerospace and oil & gas sectors and they are now looking to appoint a HR Business Partner.

You:

You will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the human resource functions, including recruitment & selection, benefits administration, performance management, learning & development and HR Policy development and implementation.

The Role:

* Employee relations, including absence, management disciplinaries, and grievances.
* Support performance management process, where necessary advising departmental Managers regarding any issues and processes.
* Learning and development: providing guidance on development for managers and their teams; handling requests for learning/development, conducting TNA as required
* Supervise the apprentices within the business ensuring they excel within their capabilities by monitoring and mentoring.
* Support current and future business needs through the development and engagement of current employees.
* Deliver the recruitment & selection process from sourcing candidates to on-boarding for levels below Senior Management
* Understand the business and other functions, to ensure suitability of experience and qualifications of job holder/new recruits whilst providing HR input
* Administer the Company Compensation & Benefits offering including annual salary reviews, Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance and Pensions. Provide local advice to employees on company benefit provisions.
* Maintain accurate and up to date HR Information systems. Prepare and analyse reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department. Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports for management.
* Review and liaise with the external contractors in relation to medical and catering contracts
* Implement and support compliance initiatives.
* Continually review HR Processes at the plant, make recommendations for improvement based on best practice.

Attributes:

* Degree qualification, CIPD preferred.
* Strong practical working knowledge of employment law
* Min 5 years experience within a HR Generalist role
* Excellent communication skills, honed in business partnering/advisory roles
