We are now seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified Plumber to join us in Coatbridge.
Working in occupied and void properties undertaking responsive maintenance, planned and void works. Replacing and maintaining all plumbing systems within domestic social housing properties.
Daily tasks will include but not limited to, repairing leaks, replacing bathroom / kitchen taps, mixer showers, renewing waste pipes, toilets, syphons, inlet valves, baths / sinks / basins, bath panels, vented and unvented cylinders, pumps, tiling, complete bathroom replacements, radiator replacements / TRV’s
Liaising with the Mears branch you will enable a response to all jobs within given time periods as laid down within the contract to ensure the work has been carried out both effectively and efficiently. You will also be responsible in making certain that any further information/works from any job is passed over to the office staff as required. Coordinating with fellow operatives on site you will work efficiently as a team member to make sure target deadlines are met in accordance with contract KPI’s.
In order to be successful in this role, you will be experienced in reactive and void works to domestic properties. Experience or basic understanding in other trades would be beneficial.
Successful Operatives will also be added to the branch out of hours rota.
Candidates for this role must hold a full valid UK driving license – a company van is provided as standard
