This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading cyber security managed services providers.
They are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join them on a part-time basis (25 hours per week) on a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 DoE pro-rata. If you have worked in a similar role over the last couple of years, have experience in working for a SME and would like to join a small tight-knit Finance team, they would like to hear from you (no agencies please).
Role Overview
The Assistant Accountant is a key role within the Finance Team with a number of key areas of focus, ie. KPI reporting, Deferred Income, Assets and Process Improvements.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Deferred Income: Raising MS invoicing. Maintaining MS contracts and invoicing related spreadsheets
- KPI Reporting: Supporting the Group FC with KPI reporting such as Utilisation, Order Book etc.
- Reporting on our Australian division, including Monthly Management Pack
- Assets: Maintaining tangible and intangible assets registry and other related spreadsheets
- Insurances: Maintaining and renewing Insurances
- Process Improvements: Streamlining and improving financial processes
Key Measures
- All key areas are delivered accurately and in line with set timescales
- Attention to detail is given to all key areas and care taken in providing requested information
Key Skills/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in comparative roles
- Advance spreadsheet knowledge is essential
- AAT qualification is desirable
- Working knowledge of Sage 50 is desirable
