Stage Sound Services Ltd is a sound & video equipment rental company, based in Cardiff, which supplies equipment predominantly for the theatre & corporate events industries. As part of the business we operate a Flightcase Manufacturing Department to service the needs of our rental departments, and also customers bespoke requirements. We are looking for a Production Assistant to assist the Flightcase Builders.
Ideal Candidate Requirements: -
- Energy, Enthusiasm, Self Motivation & Initiative
- Good communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Work well in a team, but also individually
- Have a “can do” attitude
- Experience in using hand tools & power tools
Roles to include: -
- Preparation of materials for flightcase builders
- Unloading & Reloading of panels onto CNC Machine
- Basic assembly of pre-cut wooden panels
- Preparing wood for paint coating
- Stock taking component parts & reordering with production manager
- Cleaning flightcases prior to delivery
- Ensuring work area is kept clean & tidy
Working Hours: -
- 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
