Applications are invited from high quality candidates to join an exciting and committed team as Senior Administrator and Clerk to the Governors within Fairlawn Primary School.

The role of Senior Administrator presents an exciting and invigorating opportunity to join a diverse and developing school.

As a Senior Administrator and Clerk to the Governors, you will work closely with the Senior Team as well as the Local Governing Body to provide complex advisory and administrative support.  You will be responsible for the design and effective operation of administrative process and procedures within the School and have line management responsibility for admin staff.

The role will also involve working closely with the Principal and Trust Team with regard to Finance and HR matters including oversight of budgets, recruitment and absence reporting.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • minimum of GCSE Grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications)
  • experience of general office and administration
  • clear experience of being able to work as a team player and an individual with an individual workload
  • working with confidential and sensitive data, understanding the professional requirements of working with information such as notetaking/minutes
  • exceptional organisational and time management skills with the resilience to work under pressure
  • some general finance awareness

It would be a distinct advantage to have knowledge of working within an educational setting ideally however full training will be given. 

You must display excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate an attitude of learning, continual personal and professional development.
