The Role
As the Technical Support Advisor, you’ll provide software application support to clients.
In this key role, you’ll support software that clients use to manage their real estate information, track service charges and produce accounting information. You’ll support a broad range of clients, from small, one-man operations to large corporations, so no two days will ever be the same.
Specifically, you will:
- Advise clients via telephone and email channels
- Access client systems to identify and resolve issues
- Assist with issues relating to applications, SQL databases, networks and general IT-related queries
- Communicate relevant software enhancement requests to the Development Team
- Identify and escalate non-support related queries to the relevant parties
About You
To be considered as a Technical Support Advisor, you will need:
- Software application support experience
- The ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex information
- Great problem-solving abilities
Ideally, you’ll have experience of supporting accountancy software applications, such as Pegasus or Sage, on an Oracle or SQL database platform and some understanding of financial accounts.
