We are currently working with a leading UK Utility Company with an excellent reputation in the industry. Due to growth within the business they have a requirement for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive the success of the business.
Key Essentials:
* You will be required to secure new multi-utility / utility contracts from developers
* Taking responsibility for seeking out and converting clients into long term repeat customers and maintaining existing client relationships
* You will be required to liaise with the estimating team to prepare multi utility proposals for a range of new build projects as per client requirements
* You will be responsible for recognising specific client needs and communicating these internally to ensure the compelling and timely delivery of proposals
* Ensuring the delivery of sales goals within regional targets
* You will be expected to maintain an excellent level of customer service at all times to both internal and external clients
* This is a home-based role covering the South of England
Requirements:
* You must have experience in a similar role within the utility industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with evidence of building long term compelling relationships and ongoing nurturing of key clients
* Proven experience of identifying and developing strong and successfully converting to clients
* Must be target and deadline driven with proven experience of delivery within given time frames
* A proactive and motivated approach, with a strong understanding of customer service and its impact on business performance
* Demonstratable experience of continuous improvement within new and existing processes
* Experience of using MS Office suite and in-house databases
* Ability to learn new technical products with a passion for ongoing learning and development.
This is an excellent position that offers a salary of up to GBP50k plus package
