A fantastic temporary to permanent opportunity to work within a fast paced manufacturing environment. Our Client is an established employer who are continuing to expand, their employees have worked with them for many years due to them being a great employer and they are looking for candidates to join them who are looking for that "long term" career opportunity. Candidates will need to hold a Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence.
Working as a skilled Machine Operator/ Band Saw/ Plate Saw - Nights operative, you will be reading customer orders, setting machines and producing the goods as per the specification.
This is an independent role which gives you the opportunity to take responsibility for your duties and manage your workload effectively working on either a Band saw or a Plate saw.
The successful Machine Operator/ Band Saw/ Plate Saw - Nights candidate will need to have previously worked within a manufacturing environment and have some form of machine operating experience. You will be fully trained on our Client's specific operating tools.
You will be working on a Night shift 10pm - 6am Sunday - Thursday.
Excellent benefits on offer to the Machine Operator/ Band Saw/ Plate Saw - Nights operative include:
- Time and a half / double time on overtime
- Annual attendance bonus where you can earn up to an additional 5 days pay
- Annual profit bonus where you can earn additional pay - variable but previous years have been up to 10 days
- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
