Joiner / Kitchen Fitter
The Company
The company was created in 2000 to produce the finest hand-crafted quality furniture. Located in the heart of the National Forest, Ashby De La Zouch, the company has rapidly grown and prides itself on providing excellent service as well as highly acclaimed furniture.
The Role
Following organic growth and business expansion they are now looking for an experienced Joiner / Fitter to join their team on a permanent or a temp-to-perm basis.
The main duties will involve the following:
?? Installation of bespoke Kitchens, Bedrooms and Study Rooms.
?? Load and unload materials and tools.
?? Installation of kitchen units, cut and fit panels, cornice, etc.
Candidates must be able to work day shifts 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Due to the nature of work, some flexibility will be required, occasionally Saturday overtime.
Your Background
To succeed in this role you must meet the following criteria:
?? Have previous experience working as Joiner / Kitchen Fitter.
?? Able to work in a team.
?? Have a good understanding of kitchen installation as well as basic joinery.
?? Able to listen to instructions and read drawings.
?? Work of own initiative and willing to learn.
?? Hold clean driving license.
?? Own hand tools (all power tools are supplied as well as any job specific tooling).
Additionally, basic plumbing and electrical skills will be advantageous.
The Benefits
o Competitive pay range between GBP12.00-GBP14.00 per hour, depending on experience.
o Overtime paid at x1.33 Rate.
o Temp-to-Perm after 12 weeks or straight Perm for the right candidate.
