Well established Engineering company in the Northamptonshire area are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist / Turner/ Miller/ Grinder
The company are a family run engineering firm who are experiencing significant growth at present. They are looking to recruit a permanent employee to replace someone retiring within the busy machine shop. This role could be permanent from day one and the client offer long term stability and the opportunity to progress within the business.
As a Manual skilled Machinist you will work 40 hours per week on a day shift. Overtime is available.
You must be able to read engineering drawings to tight tolerances, set up and run your machine with limited supervision. You must have strong quality inspection skills including use of gauges and be familiar producing one off and small batch parts in a targeted production environment.
The successful candidate should ideally be apprentice trained however not essential motivated and highly skilled and have a proven background in producing precision parts and needs to have good communication skills, work well as part of a team and be able to use their own initiative to resolve problems.
This role is commutable from Northampton, Wellingborough, Daventry, Kettering and Corby, Milton Keynes
