9am - 5.30pm Mon - Thursday, 4.15pm finish on Friday

Working for an established marketing/creative company within the promotional merchandise arena based at Salford Quays. Market leaders in their field, they deal with some of the world's largest brands. With global offices, my client is looking for a HR Advisor to support their continued growth. You will join a small but very friendly team, providing employment law advice, guiding and supporting our teams as well as demonstrating your 'in-house' recruitment expertise to attract and retain talent. There is a large amount of admin associated with this role along with involvement in the monthly payroll elements such as sickness, holidays, time off etc

What's involved in the role:

On the HR generalist side of the role:

You'll be responsible for providing advice and guidance on employee relations issues, supporting our internal customers.
You will be responsible for providing accurate management information reports and dashboards to provide group wide information.
As this is a small team, you will be required to be 'hands on' with the administration required within this role.
Other responsibilities will include supporting the payroll team with the monthly payroll.
There may also be opportunities to support the Head of HR with project work.

On the recruitment side of the role:

You will proactively get involved in the pooling, attraction and selection of talent to support the future needs of the business.
Develop new and innovative approaches to attract quality candidates using a variety of networking tools, social media and jobs boards.
Be a brand ambassador to effectively recruit high calibre candidates across the company.
Organising interviews for managers and conducting initial telephone interviews to assess candidates as part of the shortlisting process.

What you'll Need:

You will be confident, customer-focused and good at working under pressure with strong planning and organisational skills. The ability to communicate professionally and with empathy at all levels, deliver exceptional service to all internal departments and to work well in a small team are also necessary. Candidates must possess 18 months generalist employment law experience supported by a recognised HR qualification (minimum part qualified), preferably in a fast moving, ever changing commercial environment. You will also have excellent numeracy and accuracy skills coupled with the ability to solve problems using your own initiative.
