Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing's Production Support Division has an exciting opportunity in Sheffield for a CNC Miller working with a well-established business which has enjoyed continual growth over the past couple of years.
The role is based in a busy machine shop working on a variety of parts ranging from bespoke one-offs to batch work.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Working to Engineering drawings on high-value parts
• Setting and operating and programming specialist CNC Milling Machines
• Able to use Heidenhein controls
• Working to high precision tolerances
• Producing components of a high quality from a variety of materials
• 5s Housekeeping
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• Excellent attitude to work
• Precision machining in a fast-paced environment
• Programming, setting and operating CNC Milling Machines
• Experience of working in a machine shop environment
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to carry out the first inspection
