We have 2 positions available in the Potters Bar area of Hertfordshire. The first role is for a Sales Ledger and the second role is for a Finance Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded social care provider who provide specialist care to younger and older adults with Epilepsy and Learning and Physical Disabilities.

Responsibilities
As their Sales Ledger, your role will involve mainly chasing the debts from local authorities, preparing debt reports, raising and sending out invoices, admitting and discharging the residents in the system and recording of any change of circumstances. You will also be answering phone calls and sorting out queries.
As their Finance Assistant, you will be monitoring the accounts of service users on a regular basis, raising cheques from clients' CMS accounts and posting them to the system, applying for appointee ship and benefits for new residents, data entry and completion of DWP/Local Authority forms.
What are the requirements?
  • Ideally, one years of previous experience within the industry in administration, in a finance environment or credit control;
  • The candidate should have good knowledge of Excel;
  • Excellentoral and written communication skills as well being good with figures.
