Senior Registered Nurse / Clinical Lead in the Borough of Croydon
Salary: GBP19.00 per hour
Spear Recruitment is assisting in the recruitment for an Experienced Senior Nurse / Clinical lead for a 22 bed nursing home in the Borough of Croydon.
As a Senior Nurse / Clinical Lead you must be able to ensure that all clinical provision complies with company and NICE guidelines, through clinical supervision for qualified nurses and care workers.
You should be able to advise on assessments of prospective residents and liase with the home manager to ensure safe admission.
You will be responsible for monitoring assessments, care planning and reviews liaising with nurses and the home manager to ensure that best practice and residents outcomes are achieved.
Monitor the ordering, safe handling and administration of medication including auditing of MAR charts.
Liaise with Home Manager about care/nursing rotas and ensure staffing level is appropriate to meet the needs of residents.
You should be willing to provide nursing cover as required within the home, ensuring own professionalism and competence are maintained at all times.
* This post requires you to have a RGN / RMN Qualification with valid NMC pin with no restrictions to practice.
* You will need a minimum of 2 years in a Senior Nursing position.
* You need a keen interest in working with the elderly and those living with Dementia.
