Assistant Consultant- Reading Drainage, Flood Risk and Air

My client, a UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Hydrology and Infrastructure Engineering, is searching for an Assistant Consultant to join a fast based office based in Reading to complete varied Flood Risk, Drainage, Environmental Pollution and Air Quality Project.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to be trained by a friendly team of Engineers to complete varied Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage and Air Quality Projects for Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to complete Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3, Surface Water Management Plans, Flood Estimation using FEH, Environmental Impact Assessment, Drainage Strategy and Air Quality Monitoring.

You will also have the opportunity to complete University Courses covering Climate Change, Environmental Pollution and Air Quality.

Candidates are required to have a HNC and/or BSc, MSc and/or PhD in a relevant subject (e.g. Climate Change, Environmental Pollution, Hydrology, Environmental Management or Civil Engineering) and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing or reviewing Flood Risk Assessments or Drainage Strategy.

Candidates are required to have a keen interest in flood risk and drainage and have the confidence to liaise with clients to discuss project development and issues.

It is also beneficial for you to have a valid UK licence to visit flood risk sites and utilise company vehicles.
