Role & Responsibilities:
* To further develop, implement and co-ordinate our (BMS) Business Management Systems and procedures. You will be 'responsible for' and 'play an integral role' in driving business improvements (culturally) across all functions of the site (including: continuous improvement, workplace management, etc.).
* Complaints management and fault resolution to a successful conclusion.
* Lead and Co-ordination of Product and Raw Material Non-conformance system
* Support and be proactive in continuous improvement initiatives
* Attend customer and site visits when required.
* Reporting to management on internal & external quality performance.
* Supporting on internal and external inspections and testing (as needed).
* Lead problem solving activities utilising industry standard methodologies: 8D's, 5 why's, 3C, DMAIC, Ishikawa fish bone diagrams, FMEA's
* Conduct internal audits and support with customer, ISO audits
* Develop procedures in line with customer, ISO and local needs and expectations.
* Pinpointing relevant quality and business-related training needs.
* Driving cultural change through the business
Principal Elements
Required attributes:
* Minimum (or equivalent) HNC/HND in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or other related field
* A minimum of 5 years' experience working in an Engineering or Quality Engineering role.
* Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally at all levels within the organisation.
* Organised, practical, logical in work approach
* Positive can-do attitude
* Excellent project management skills
* Excellent drawing interpretation skills
* Ability to utilise a wide range of analytical, statistical and reliability tools.
Desired attributes:
* Working knowledge of lean principles
* In depth knowledge of regulated industry standards, such as ISO 9001 experience
