A 2 partner practice in Slough is looking for a Senior accountant to join their team.
They have been established in the area for several decades and have a large and growing client base, including some large businesses and audit work.
The role would suit someone who is either qualified (ACCA or ACA) or nearly qualified, and who has strong accounts experience. Some experience of audit would be beneficial but isn't necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies
Assisting the Accounts Manager in managing a client portfolio
VAT and corporate tax returns
Reviewing the work of juniors and trainees
This practice can offer excellent progression opportunities as they grow and many of the people in senior roles in the firm progressed from junior positions.
They also offer support for studies if you are not yet qualified, and have a positive attitude to personal development courses.
For the right experience, my client can pay a salary of up to GBP40,000 for this role.
