Howett Thorpe & Change has been instructed by one of their key clients to secure the services of a permanent Compensation & Benefits Analyst to support the company in developing a robust compensation and benefits policy that delivers against the needs of the UK business.The position sits within the HR function and will provide key data and analysis on a multitude of areas such as ensuring employee packages are in alignment with company policies and guidelines, are competitive, equitable and reflect the relative market conditions for all key discipline areas

As the Compensation & Benefits Analyst your responsibilities will be:
- To produce various key people performance/metrics indicator reports for business managers for inclusion in business reports to include statistical data, charts and trends.
- To be the system reporting expert within the team, ensuring that the HR Operations team and payroll are creating the necessary data reports for decision making requirements.
- To support in the provision of data for the monthly/annual reporting including remuneration statements, bonus/commission, minimum wage, salary reviews, gender pay reporting etc.
- To ensure compensation and benefits standards comply with company policies and/or other regulations or legislation.
- To analyse, review and recommend changes to compensation and benefits at the country level via REMCO.
- To assist in development of policies and procedures to support the compensation and benefits function.
- To be a main contributor to the HR and Payroll teams in key project activities relating to streamlining processes and delivering to the new shared service HR operating model
- To participate in market and salary surveys for all operational and support function areas.
- To monitor reviews of compensation and benefits packages to maintain market positioning.
- To participate in the due diligence process during mergers and acquisitions ensuring that all the relevant data is analysed accordingly to protect this business from any liabilities.
- To coordinate communication of compensation and benefits information to employees and other HR groups.
- To ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines.
- To improve procedures and processes to ensure that the best service delivery is given by HR to the business and that the HR system has the correct reports set up.
- To be responsible for ensuring accuracy of all data and that the format and reporting is in the correct structured format.
- To ensure that the required reward processes & procedures meet company policy and/or legal requirements.
- To lead the annual reward cycle and processes such as Annual pay review and annual bonus scheme management and processes, producing letters, monitoring process and filing completed agreements
- To monitor payroll data in relation to GDPR reporting ensuring that the business is capturing the correct information and inputting this onto the HR system
As the Compensation & Benefits Analyst you will have:
- Proven MI experience ideally within a Reward function
- Experience of working with IT systems and Data Management
- Enhanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of HR systems also desired
- Excellent numeric skills
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritise workloads to achieve deadlines
- Good presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals
