Our client is the largest independent housing association in the Borough of Broxbourne, providing over 4,600 homes across Hertfordshire and Essex.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly organised individual to join their development team in the role of development programme officer. The main purpose of this role is to support and assist the development team in the delivery of new build property by monitoring and reporting on the development programme, spend and budget, liaising with homes England and the finance department, claiming grants, maintaining databases, obtaining rent and sales estimates and preparing and minuting reports for executive, board, homes England and local authorities.
Excellent numerical skills and the ability to conduct statistical appraisal is essential along with proficient use of IT, ideally an advanced user of MS Excel.
You will have good communication skills and be able to negotiate and discuss issues with a wide range of audiences. Knowledge of development in social housing and homes England would be desirable. This role would suit someone who can thrive in a busy environment, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
