X-ray Technical Support Engineer (Medical Systems)

The Role

Responsible for developing Service Capabilities on Multi-Vendor X-ray products in Europe, providing expert technical support to Field Service Engineers, as well as acting as a field change agent and champion driving improvements in Service Delivery with a strong focus on costs. This position requires travel within Europe.

Responsibilities:

Develop service capabilities on X-ray products in Europe from several OEMs. This consists of developing service documentation, ensuring software accessibility and service access, and providing technical training to our Field Service Engineers
Provide coaching and On-the-Job Training for Field Service Engineers to ensure that technical skills are up-to-date and meet the needs of the business
Provide remote and on-site technical support to Field Service Engineers in Europe. This will require some frequent travel
Act as a field change agent and champion driving improvements in Service Delivery performance (time to repair, Customer satisfaction), as well as identifying opportunities for Productivity to reduce our Cost To Serve and make our Business more profitable

Qualifications / Requirements:

Engineering qualification or equivalent knowledge or experience
Field Service or /Modality Support experience on Medical X-ray products
Demonstrated problem solving capability in tense situations
Effective verbal/phone communication skills when under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Prior project leader or team leader experience
OEM training to support the targeted products needed for the position
EU Work Permit
