Extrusion - Manufacturing Team Members
Based - South Normanton
These positions will appeal to applicants who have a range of skillsets. Ideally you will be working within a manufacturing environment and have previous experience of shift working.
The extrusion team are responsible for the manufacture of high quality pipe used in the gas, water and telecomms sectors. Operators are required to work with different types of specialist machinery to produce a variety of products with quality being at the heart of the process.
The positions require a degree of lifting and manual handling, applicants are therfore required to be physically fit and have some knowledge of manual handling and lifting techniques.
Working a continental 12 hour shift pattern (4 on 4 off), successful applicants can look forward to working with a progressive, well-established organisation offering training and real long term opportunity to those demonstrating commitmment to the business.
Desirable Skills
• Ability to work within teams
• Competent to work to strict processes
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Quality conscious
• Capacity to absorb instructions within a fast paced environment
• Strong commitment to health and safety procedures
Location is ideal for those residing in North Nottinghamshire, South Sheffield and Derbyshire, although due to shift patterns it is highly desirable for applicants to have transport.
• GBP9.13 - GBP10.75 per hour
